The world has been waiting and Audi has official let the cat out the bag by revealing the concept F1 car set to take the stage when the brand takes the center stage in the 2026 F1 season.

The strategic plan has seen Audi selected to partner with Sauber Group in the F1 project and revealed plans to acquire a stake in the group from 2026 onwards using the power unit developed by Audi for the pinnacle of motorsport. Audi’s confirmation extends on the brands long history in motorsport and marks the next milestone in the company’s entry into the premier class of the sport.
The marriage between Sauber, one of the most renowned traditional teams in Formula 1 and with around 30 years of competitive experience, seems like a solid one to start off Audi’s pursuit in making a mark in the sport. Sauber will develop and manufacture the car at its site Hinwil(Switzerland) and will also be responsible for planning and execution of race operations.

First glance on the car have been great, one would assume that Audi is not only going to look good on the tracks but also perform as anticipated. We are definitely looking forward to seeing what Audi(and Sauber as a strategic partner) have to offer and hopefully they add their fair share of drama at the pursuit of championship points.
