Audi has released the new Q5 Black Edition alongside with the Q2, A3, Q3 and A4 special models that have been released in the line-up. The Q5 will see the Black Edition treatment being rolled out between the Q4 40 TDI and 40 TFSI, as well as the SQ5 TSFI models.

The Black edition trim includes dark trim accents and striking alloy wheels, along with dynamic design implementations on the models. The Q5 Black Edition sees extras like black styling & black mirrors; the chrome bits, like on the window sills are coded in the Black Edition touch, 20-inch alloy wheels, Matrix LED headlights, deluxe packages that include panoramic sunroof, trailer hitch, comfort key, city assistance package (rear-view camera, lane-change assist, pre-sense rear), sport seats with electric memory adjustment and 4-way lumbar support, electrically folding mirrors, accent surfaces in gloss black and a flat-bottom steering wheel to name a few extras.

The new Q5 40 TDI puts out 140kW on the four-cylinder turbo-diesel and the 40 TSFI puts out 183kW on the four-cylinder turbo-petrol engines respectively in the SUV and Sportback models through the line-up.
The Q5 40 TDI 140kW Black Edition retails for R1,210,500 for the SUV and R1,273,500 for the Sportback. The Q5 40 TFSI 183kW Black Edition costs R1,215,600 for the SUV and R1,278,400 for the Sportback.
All Audis feature a five-year/100,000km Audi Freeway Plan service and maintenance plan as standard.
